Demonstration - Bright and fresh landscape.  Mark Wood

Local artist Mark will create an impressionist painting of Wittenham Clumps in acrylic. He will talk about using a brightly coloured background and include tips for a more vibrant painting.

Talk - Eric Ravilious.   David Haycock

David is an author and Research Fellow at Oxford Brookes University.  The talk will focus on Ravilious’ watercolours, but also with reference to his work as a muralist, designer for ceramics and a wood engraver. Ravilious has emerged in recent decades to become one of the best-loved English artists of the 20th century, admired for his idiosyncratic views of the English countryside, and his merging of the modern with the traditional.

Demonstration -  Francesca Shakespeare

Francesca Shakespeare will be looking at ways to create simple, engaging compositions using colour and texture. The evening will involve a mixture of demonstration and participation.
